having dinner

Izumi sat down and ordered some Ramen.

"Hello Izumi. Back from your mission?" the owner asked.

Izumi grunted and nodded her head. She didn't like talking much about her missions. "Yes, I'm home for a week then I leave again."

Sendo was new to Konoha. She had just arrived from the Hidden Shadow Lands and was looking for someplace to eat. She slipped into a seat at the Ramen shop and ordered a cup of tea.

Izumi noticed a ninja walk in. She didn't recognize her so she kept Tessaiga close.

Sendo thanked the man as he passed her her tea. She sipped it once and looked around the shop.

Izumi watched her from the corner of her eye and continued to eat her Ramen.

Sendo looked over and saw a girl staring at her slightly. "Can I help you?" Sendo asked, a side of annoyance in her voice. She was exhausted and didn't need a conflict tonight.

"No. Haven't seen you around here. You must not be from this village." Izumi said because she knew everyone from the village.

Sendo stared at her and shook her head. "This is my first time here. And by the way, I don't belong to any village." She looked away and too a sip of her tea. "I'm a rogue."

Izumi's eyes narrowed. She pulled her mask up to her nose. She had finished her ramen and left the money. "Good day." she said and left.

Sendo watched as the girl got up and left. "Bye?" She sighed and shrugged. Whatever. She probably wasn't going to see that girl again, since it was off to unknown Suna in the morning.

Izumi was walking home when she got stopped by Kakashi.

"The hokage wants you to go to Suna with me tomorrow." he said boredly while reading his book.

"Great. Just great. That's where the rouge is going." she said kicking some dirt. "I'll meet you at the gate at sun rise." she said and ran home to pack.
