"..." He stared at Akio, the boy's smile wide and cheerful. Opening his mouth to say something, he found that he had no reply to her comment, and frowned. "I don't understand why."

Sendo sighed and shook her head, looking at the ground. "Gaara-kun, Gaara-kun, Gaara-kun," she mummbled, looking up at him. "Maybe he likes you for you? Did you ever think about that?"

"He shouldn't.." He looked at Sendo. "That's what I don't understand."

"Well that shouldn't matter!" Sendo said. "He shouldn't have to not like you because he's not supposed to. WHO CARES!? He likes you and that's that...you can't change it."

"I never said I wanted to.." He said, glancing at Akio who was looking up to both of them. "But I shouldn't have been the one to take care of him.. it was all just a cheap way of the Kazekage to exile me if I screwed up."

"Do you want me to take care of him then?" she asked with a sharp tone. She looked from Akio to Gaara. "If he lets me, I could take him off your hands."

"That's not possible." He replied, shaking his head slightly. "If I do that, I will be exiled."

"No you won't, I'll make sure of it," Sendo replied firmly.

"You don't know my father, then." He sighed. "The only reason why this child is still alive is because of his own filthy ways of life. Not that I'm one to talk, but if I did have anyone to blame it would be him."

"Then blame him. And tell him that you don't want to babysit," Sendo replied flatly.

"It does not matter." He said, looking at Akio again, his face blank. "My goal is to train him into an emotionless void, and if I fail to accomplish the part of even being able to take care of him, I'm exiled."

"So basicly you're trying to turn him into you," Sendo replied sharply.

"So basically I'm being forced to turn him into me, except better." He retorted, staring at her. "I might as well just kill the Kazekage and get exiled."

Sendo raised an eyebrow. "Holy shit that Kazekage guy is..." She frowned and paused, looking for the right word.

"Is what?" He asked, waiting for her to finish her sentecnce.

"A bastard? A jackass?" She looked over at him. "I think that's what I'm trying to say."

"I've called him worse.." He smirked, shaking his head slightly. "To his face, as well. He is not a man of change, so forever shall he be a 'jackass' or 'bastard', until he is dead. It was Sunagakure's mistake to make such a man the Kazekage, and to keep such a man as Kazekage. One day they will realize that power was all he ever had, and it did not do well with allaiances or safety. His biggest mistake? Me, so you know he must be a psychotic, menacing, remorseless pile of pathetic waste in blood and bone."

Sendo just stared as Gaara went on and on about the Kazekage. When he finished Sendo stared at him for a moment. "Wow..." she whispered. She took in a breath. "Ok then..."
