Stopping for a break

Izumi and Kakashi finally reached the Hidden sand village and sat down at the oasis. "Why are we even here?"

"Don't know, the Hokage just said to come here and someone would give us a scroll that is needed." he said and got his book out.

"Do you ever stop reading those?" Izumi asked irritated.

"No." he replied and continued reading.

Izumi sighed and kicked some sand.

Sendo had been on her way to check out the main city in Suna when she saw a familiar masked person sitting near the Oasis. She let out a laugh and walked over. "Who thought that'd I'd see you this soon," she said, smiling

Izumi sighed when she heard the familiar voice and looked up. "Never did catch your name. That's Kakashi, i'm Izumi."

Sendo smiled. "I'm Sendo," she replied. "Nice to meet you."

"Pleasure." Izumi said and got out a water bottle.

"Nice to meet you Sendo." Kakashi said smiling. "Don't mind Izumi, she's just anti-Social"

Sendo smiled at Kakashi and then looked down at Izumi. She clasped her hands behind her back and stretched before speaking: "So what are you guys up to?"

"We're on a mission." Izumi said and looked around.

Kakashi nodded and took a water bottle from Izumi's back pack. "Do you mind?"

She shook her head no.

"You thirsty?" He asked Sendo.

Sendo shook her head and jerked a thumb over her back. "I have my own but thanks anyway." She smiled. "You you guys are on a mission. Neat."

Kakashi nodded. "Yeah."

Izumi looked down at her sandals. "Yeah, neat."

Sendo looked from Kakashi to Izumi and then at the desert around them. "Mind if I tag along with you guys, just until you get to the city? I'll be out of your hair then."

Kakashi and Izumi looked at eachother and shrugged. "Sure, why not." Izumi said and got up. "Let's go. We should get there by night fall."

Sendo smiled and started to walk back slowly, so that Izumi and Kakashi could catch up. "Sweet. Thanks."

Izumi nodded.

"No problem." Kakashi said and caught up to Sendo.

Izumi walked beside Kakashi. "Where are we staying Kakashi?"

He stopped suddenly. "Hm...good question."

Izumi sighed. "Great."

Sendo continued to walk backwards. "There's probably an Inn somewhere you could stay in. Or you could ruff it and camp outside. That is, if the city ninja guard people will let you."

"Hopefully there's inn, if not we'll have to camp. I'm sure they will." Izumi said and glared at Kakashi. "You couldn't have made sure before we left?"

"Nope." He said and turned the page in his book.

Sendo laughed and pointed at Kakashi's book, but she adressed her question to Izumi. "What's he reading?"

Izumi sighed. "Icha Icha Paradise, again?"

"Yes. Now be quiet." he said to Izumi and flipped to the next page.

Sendo laughed. "I know that series. It's actualy pretty popular in the Land Hidden in the Snow."

Izumi nodded. "Yeah, I think he found it when he went there." she said but shrugged.

Sendo looked over at Kakashi and then at Izumi. "So..." she mummbled.

Izumi looked at Sendo. "Have you ever been on a mission?"

Sendo tapped the side of her cheek with finger and thought. "I'm not sure actualy...if I have they would have been little things like deliveries and such."

Izumi thought for a moment. "How can you not know?"

Sendo shrugged and turned so that she was walking the right way. "I guess that I that missions I've been on haven't really made an impact. All I've really dont is deliver a message here, help with some housework there. Nothing really. Just one dayers or something I can do on the go. I only really do missions so I can continue my traveling."

Izumi nodded. "The traveling one's are the dangerous ones mainly, for me anyway."

"Izumi that's because you like the danerous ones." Kakashi said and closed his book.
