Wandering

Gaara walked into the Chunin Exam stadium, looking around. There weren't many people around, though, he wasn't paying much attention to them anyway. He eyed the stadium, viewing what he would soon be fighting in.

Naruto was walking through the stadium (no particular reason) and the moment he stepped in, he noticed the strange gourd-wearing person. For curiosities sake, he wanted to know who they were so he ran up behind Gaara and tapped him on the shoulder. "Hey, where're you from, mister?"

Just as he had been tapped on the shoulder, sand exploded from his gourd and wrapped itself around the arm of the person who dared to put their hands on him. He turned his head slowly, his shoulder and neck twitching as he did. His eyes were slanted, and his mouth was slightly open.

"Don't... touch me.." He said, his voice raspy and seemingly enraged as he glared at the blonde through the corner of his eye, his sand leaving the boy's arm, having done no damage, and making it's way back into the gourd.

Naruto's eyes basically popped out of his skull. (lol) He watched the sand trail away and stood motionless, slighty afraid. A few seconds later his Naruto-ness finally kicked in. "Hey, buddy, don't spaz out like that from a little poke. Sand is for playgrounds, not ninja's, heh." To that, he laughed.

"What are you supposed to be.. Konoha's finest ninja?" He crossed his arms, turning slightly and glaring at the orange-wearing person. "You must be horrible when it comes to stealth.."

His expression grew blank at the orange man's 'joke'. "A little poke can be dangerous, if you were any kind of ninja at all you would know that. And this sand.. is for my playground of death and destruction.."

One of those angry anime vein-pops appeared on Naruto's forehead and he immidiatly exploded on Gaara. "What was that?! Listen, you no-eyebrowed freak, I don't need to be stealthy with my ninja skills! And all the sand in your stupid playground wouldn't be able to stop Naruto Uzumaki, the next Hokage, BELIEVE IT!" With that, he did a punch into the air, grinning at Gaara.

The rest of the people in the stadium who knew anything about Gaara were glancing nervously at the two. Use your imagination to figure out what they were thinking..

"Hm.. your ninja skills.. you'll be know as the boy who yapped his way to success, because I'm sure the only way you'd ever be able to beat anybody is with the power of annoyance.." He ignored the 'no eyebrow freak' comment, paying no mind to it. "All this sand in my playground would crush you in one simple hand movement."

He shook his head. "If Konoha were to make such an imbicile Hokage, it would be the worst mistake they could have ever dreamed of making.. believe it.."

His whole entire face flushed with red anger. "Shut up and don't judge my power before you've seen anything! I'll be the best Hokage this world has ever seen and you'll respect the hell outta me then!" His hands, which had balled into fists, twitched. He was seconds from punching this guy out with all his might.

But he sighed out his anger and smiled. "I worked hard to become the ninja I am. Soon I'll be even greater while you sit around in your dumb playground crushing things with 'simple hand movements'."

"If I don't even respect my father, the Kazekage, what makes you think I'll ever respect you? And I'm sure I wouldn't see anything, because you would be ripped apart by my sand before you could even lay a hand on me.." He said in his monotonic, raspy voice. "I wonder how long you've been working on becoming this great ninja you say you are.. because I'd almost pity you if you've been at it for a while. Say.. have you ever killed someone..?"

Naruto was trying his best to be the 'better man', but it was damn hard. He stood completely still, grinning while grinding his teeth. On the inside he was screaming every swear in the book. Now all the other people in the stadium were glancing uneasily at him and shifted slightly, making their way toward the exit.

"I'll be better then any Kage. Any Kage that ever came before me or after. I'll be the best." He exhaled an uneasy breathe. "You have sand on the brain too much. Being born in the sandbox that is Suna, someone probably stuck your head in the desert for a few days before they brought you home." He grinned, sticking his toungue out and pulling his bottom eyelid down with his finger. This action was a cover up for his little startled reaction to Gaara's question.

"You're damn dreary, you know that? Who asks that kind of question besides an eyebrowless tamato?"

"I doubt that you would be the best, of all people. No, someone didn't stick my head in the desert for a few days, because I'd kill them before they could." Suddenly, a demented smirk came to his face. "I'm merely doing what I was born to do.. bring pain upon those around me. Someone born as a monster would ask such a question, someone who's been killing since the dawn of his time, you cheery rotten banana."

Naruto blinked disapprovingly at Gaara. "This guy just doesn't know..." After a few seconds, Naruto hadn't said anything. He felt sorry for Gaara's ignorance and he stared at him, a lot less hostile then before. When he spoke, his voice was threaded with sadness but he gave a cheery grin. "I don't believe in monsters."

His sudden, demented smirk disappeared, and his blank expression returned. "I couldn't care less what you believe in, fool. I know what I know, I see what I see. The base of my existance is to rid the world of those who stand in my way. This should be warning enough that you stand aside from my path.."

"That's a pretty crappy goal if you ask me. There's no backbone behind it. No thought. Killing everyone around you won't help make you feel better. In fact, it'll probably make you feel worse." Naruto was starting to get bored of Gaara. He was moving on to more important situations in his head. Like what kind of ramen he would have for dinner that night. "Why not try for something a little more realistic? Like a clown. You've already got the hair for it." He glanced at Gaara's eyes. "And the makeup."

"I don't feel better, or worse. I don't feel either." He turned slightly, still staring at the blond through the corner of his eye. "I wouldn't be accepted as a clown any more than I am accepted now. Maybe you should forget about ever becoming Hokage and go on for a more realistic goal; to become Konoha's greatest prostitute, those wiskers would really suit a lether kitty suit."

Naruto gave a sly smile and rolled his hips like Sponge Bob in that one episode where he tries to teach Squidward how to blow bubbles. "Ah, I see you know a lot about the subject. So this whole time we've been talking you've been imagining me in a skimpy little kitty suit, tied up while you spank me?"

He leaned towards Gaara and batted his eyelashes. "Well, hun, I have to say, if all you wanted was a little play-play in the bedroom, you could've asked. My pricings go: Twenty bucks, oral. Ten bucks, up the ass. And forty dollars for S and M, any style you'd like. If you want the whole package, It's discounted to sixty dollars, believe it." His accent on 'believe it' was about as sexy as possible... for Naruto anyway...

As Naruto had leaned closer, Gaara had leaned back, his eyes breifly widening. Closing them, he smiled, and pushed him away softly. "My apologies, blondie, but I don't take whores. Besides, I highly doubt your worth any of that. You should stop practicing to be a ninja and work on your suduction skills."

He took one step back, putting more space between them. He opened his eys, his smile fading and his face blank once again. Despite his brief widening of eyes, his reaction was extreamly controlled for what had played out in his mind. If he were anything close to a normal person, he would have been blushing like hell and sweating buckets.

"Hey now, y'all." Naruto flicked his wrist. "Don't dis what you haven't tried." He then started cat-like pawing at Gaara's shoulder. "Me-yow. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone. I'll even give you a discount, me-yow." His eyes slid from right to left, glancing at all the other people who had stopped leaving and were now staring at the two of them. Then he continued pawing Gaara. "And if you have a fetish for cat suits, we can go out and buy the skimpiest one for me, my treat. I never knew you were such a horny bastard yourself, mister, teehee." Yes... He did just giggle...

He grinned, turning so that he was directly facing Naruto. "Oh, yes, Naruto Uzumaki. There isn't anything else I'd want in the world but to pound your obnoxious ass."

He put both hands on Naruto's shoulders, pinning him to the nearest wall. He moved his face so that his lips were right at his ear, slightly biting Naruto's ear lobe. "Just to feel you up and hold you down.. Mmm what the sensation that would be.."

Naruto, a ruin-the-moment-for-all-yaoi-fangirls-across-the-whole-globe kind of guy, exploding laughing. And when I say exploded, I mean KA-BOOM! The first blast of laughter alone pushed Gaara off of him. Then he basically was holding his stomach, crouched over, gasping for air while laughing his guts out.

Finally, he shakily wobbled over to Gaara, still having small laughing spazms now and then. He dropped one hand on Gaara's shoulder. "Oh man, that was...Hahahaha.." And he continued laughing a bit more and then controled himself enough to finish. "That was awesome. You're my new best friend, BELIEVE IT!" With that, he did a really cheesy thumbs up to go along with his cheesy 'best friend' sentance.

He had crossed his arms as Naruto had put his hand on his shoulder, staring blankly at him. His eyes widened when he had been given the title of 'Naruto's new best friend', blinking while he stared at him. "New.. best friend..?"

He didn't understand how he had become a best friend, but he decided to leave it at that. He turned his head, eyeing people that had been staring at them, seeing all their wide eyes and gaping mouths. Most of them turned and made their way out, while some were just too busy staring.

Naruto, in a very cheery mood, swung his arm around Gaara's shoulder and poked the red head's cheek. "Yup, we gotta eat ramen together sometime. You're not so boring after all." He said, completely oblivious to everyone around them. "In fact, I knew running up to the kid wearing a sand gourd was the smart thing to do." He was grinning wildly now. "What is that thing for anyway? Storing all yourn porn?" Somehow, Naruto had forgotten the most important question of how Gaara had learned his rape-like actions and words.

He stared at the hand of the arm wrapped around his shoulder, knowing that usually he would be shrugging it off by now. But somehow, he didn't feel he wanted to..

"It's used to store sand.." He replied, looking away from Naruto's hand and turning his head to look at his face. "By the way.. my name is Gaara."

"You really are infatuated with sand, huh?" He asked, chuckling. "Anyway," Then he lifted his arm from around Gaara, stood back, and stuck out his hand for a shake. "Gaara No-last-name-given, you have now met Naruto Uzumaki, future Hokage and best friend, BELIEVE IT!"

He watched as Naruto took his arm from around his shoulders, and stared as he held out his hand. He was confused at what he was doing. "..."
