Tobi's fails; the last place that will hire him

Tobi, after getting fired so many times at all the places he tried out for, eventually came to the ichiraku ramen shop. Where they hired him and gave him a ramen-making uniform. Then they told him that they were leaving to take their first break in 20 years. They're last words were 'see you in an hour', and then they left Tobi all alone to man the shop and hopefully not skrew up.

Gaara waked into the Ramen shop, looking around. He wasn't necessarily there to buy anything, just to look. But when he didn't see what he was looking for, he gave an agitated sigh, and turned his head to stare at the only person in a Ramen shop uniform. He walked over and stared at him from the other side of the counter.

"What are you supposed to be.."

Tobi sprung right in front of Gaara, slamming his hands on the counter and staring at him from across it. "Tobi is a ramen salesman by day aaaaannnddd..." He spun around and a magical cape appeared, tied around his neck. "Super Ichi-Ramen by night! Whoooooo!" He danced around a bit before coming back up to Gaara and asking, "So what can Tobi get you today, young miss?"

"Young miss..." His blank face turned into an angry glare, and his fists raised from his sides. "Young miss..?! Young miss!?"

Sand raised from his gourd and it wrapped around Tobi's legs, slowly traveling up his body. "Your a fool.. I'll kill you.."

Tobi glanced down at the sand in alarm. "Wah?! Ah! Hey, don't kill Tobi! Tobi didn't do anything wrong! Tobi was a good boy, did his job! Did his job!" He cried and slammed his hand against a menu. "Tobi needs to give you food, not be killed! What did he do wroooooong!"

"You have not been a good boy. Look at me," He reached his hand over and turned Tobi's face so that he was looking at him. "Do I look like a miss to you?!"

Tobi couldn't nod or shake his head, so he just went along with his words. "Tobi was doing regulatory politeness, Tobi's forced to call you miss, ma'am! Don't kill him for doing his job! Look at the chart and see for yourself!" Moving very carefully, Tobi puled out a peice of paper from his pocket. It had a list of rules on it and he circled number three:

#3: Call all customers miss or mister. Polite at all times, keep in mind some customers can be loud, make sure to be extra nice to them since our whole business is basically supported by their consumption.

"Fool.." He growled, taking a few steps back and holding out his arm, ready to crush the pumpkin face. "I am not a woman, or do I look like an uke to you?"

Tobi held up his hands apologetically, he was bawling by this time. "Tobi doesn't understand! Young miss isn't a woman! I'm sorry, don't kill a man on his first day! What will I tell Pein-sama when he finds out I'm dead?! I don't even know what an uke is!"

ooc: Naruto to the rescue!

Naruto ran up to the ramen counter like he did almost ever day and sat himself down before noticing Gaara standing right beside him. (how the hell could someone not notice Gaara for so long?) Immediately, his face lit up and he punched out his fist in Gaara's direction. "Gaara! Hey, you're back! What's u-" He glanced over at Tobi who was shaking in the sand that curled around him. Naruto nervously scratched his nose with the hand that wasn't outstretched, awaiting its much needed props. "What's wrong with him?" He asked very innocently.

Gaara glanced through the corner of his eye to Naruto, too angry at the lolipop to say hello and give him his much awaited props. "He called me a woman."

Naruto blinked a few times at Gaara and then at his pumpkin-faced associate and then started laughing. "Y-You thought he-" He pointed at Gaara. "Was a woman?!" At that he fell off his chair, rolling around on the ground and holding his stomach.

Tobi shook his head at Gaara. "Tobi knows the young miss isn't a girl! Why does he hate him so? Tobi will make young miss ramen if that'll make him happy!"

"Then why.." He was growling. He wasn't nice enough yet to handle all the laughing and misunderstanding in a good way, so he was probably going to try killing Tobi. "Do you keep calling me miss?!"

"Tobi's just following what sempai said!" He cried and motioned to the rule list again. "Gotta call everyone miss! Tobi has to make ramen properly AND figure out customers, it's not as easy as everyone thinks!"

At that, Naruto sat up and blankly stared at Tobi. "Wait, you're making the ramen today?" He turned and looked at Gaara zealously, still on his knees on the ground. "Aw, c'mon Gaara-chan, can't you take a joke? Besides I'm hungry and he's the only one here. Can't you cut him some slack just this one time?" Naruto clasped his hands in begging position, and with his sweetest voice he dramatically batted his eye lashes. "Pleeeeaaaaaase?"

He snarled at Tobi, glancing at Naruto, who was in a begging position while trying to give the sweetest voice possible for him. That wasn't an insult, since Gaara would be able to do any better with a sweet voice. He stared at Naruto for a moment, then turned his head back to Tobi, frustrated. "If he wasn't here, you'd be dead.."

With that, he turned to look down at Naruto, officially grumpy for the day. "Get out of that pitiful position.."

(lets just say the sand has gone bye bye )

Tobi dropped down on the counter, relieved he wasn't gonna have a face-to-face confrontation with the great ninja in the sky. He felt like hugging Gaara but decided he wouldn't risk his life twice in one day. "If it really bothers you that much, Tobi will name you 'the customer', then you will not be angry." He then stood up and bowed. "What can Tobi get you both?"

Naruto stuck his tongue out at Gaara. "It may be pitiful, but I'd do anything for ramen." Then he hopped back onto his seat and grinned at Tobi. "Two miso ramen and one extra spicy pork ramen and make it snappy, alright?" He glanced at Gaara and patted the seat beside him. "Order something, buddy. If it's your first time, I'll pay for half, believe it!"

He stared at the seat, looking as though he could burn a hole through it with his eyes. Though, he took his gourd off and set it down beside the seat, sitting down anyway with his back to the counter, leaning against it. "I'll pass."

"Aww." Naruto was disappointed but decided to screw over Gaara's free will. He turned to Tobi and jabbed a thumb in Gaara's direction. "He'll have curry chicken." And just to be snooty about it, Naruto grinned right in Gaara's direction, wondering if it would make Gaara an evan grumpier goose.

Gaara side glanced at Naruto, giving no reaciton. "It's just a waste of money. I'm not eating no matter what you do."

Naruto grinned evilly. "Oh, you'll eat, I'll figure out some way, but you will eat."

ooc: too lazy to go to Tobi for the moment. He's making ramen and singing, there.

He shook his head slightly. "It won't help you. You can try, but you'll fail miserably."

Tobi slammed All four ramen bowls on the counter and grinned, proud of his work. Then he looked at both boys and thought, "Man, Tobi thinks he's seen these two somewhere..." Tobi pulled out his Akatsuki-styled wallet and pulled out a sheet labelled 'Jinchuuriki wanted list'. The first and last were the boys right in front of him. Tobi thought about trying to bring them back to the Akatsuki, but then realized he had been kicked out and was no longer entitled to attack them. So, he stuck the wallet away and headed back to the kitchen, happy he didn't have to ditch his super-fun time job.
