Sasori's Room

Sasori stood in his room, staring at all the puppet related things in it. He was contemplating the thought of making a new puppet, updating an old one, or going out to find someone suitable for him to use.

Konan was walking around, looking for Sasori. She walked past his room and decided that it was worth a try. She knocked on the door.

He turned his head, staring at the door. He turned his head again, looking back to one of his recent failed projects. "Come in.."

Konan opened the door and stepped into the Puppet Chamber, as she sometimes called it. "Hey," she said. She looked around at the puppets, not knowing what else to say.

"What would you like?" He asked, picking up one of the arms to his failed project. It wasn't that he failed to make it properly, it was that the spouse used for the project wasn't good enough. He usually kept his failed garbage, though, just incase he decided he could do something with it.

"Or have you merely decided you'd stop by during a short stroll?"

Konan shrugged. "I was just stopping in," she said. It's easier talking to Tobi then Sasori, at least Tobi says something. But what did I really expect?

"Hm.." He threw the arm aside and turned around, staring at her. His tone was bored as he spoke, his face blank. "How have you been?"

Konan sighed and crossed her arms "Alright. A little ticked but I'm pretty good. How about you?"

"I've been the same as usual." He replied. "Why are you ticked?"

Konan nodded at his answer. "I'm ticked that I let that stupid jinjuriki get away from me. I tracked it for a month and then it just...disappeared." She made a poofing motion with her hands.

"Strange.. Jinchuuriki don't just 'disappear'.." He raised an eyebrow. "Hn.. well, I can't tell you why that happened."

Konan sighed. "I didn't expect you to," she said. "But that's why I'm ticked, because I wasn't able to catch it." She crossed her arms and stared at the floor.

"You'll have your chance again soon enough." He said. "No Jinchuuriki can get away from us for long."

Konan smiled and it was edged with a malicious too evil for words. "No they can't. There's not place on Earth they can hide that we won't find them."

"That's right." He smirked. "That's why it's pointless for them to try."

Konan nodded, still smiling. "It won't be out in the world for long. I plan on asking Pein if I can go back out and look for it again in a couple weeks. And I won't come back until I have it."

"Do you know which demon they hosted?" He asked, crossing his arms.

Konan nodded. "Yeah. He had the seven tailed ox."

(i dont remember what Pein sent me out for... so lets just say that)

He nodded. "Seven tailed Ox.. hm, good luck catching it."

Konan narrowed her eyes a little. "Good luck? You don't think I can?"

He raised an eyebrow. "No, I was merely passing words of good fortune to your mission."

Konan looked at him normaly, feeling a little stupid. "Ok..." Her demonic smile disappeared and she looked slightly bored.

"Hm.." He turned around, grabbing another piece to a failed project. "Where do you think your seven tailed friend disappeared to?"

Konan mummbled under her breath and sighed, pushing a strand of hair out of her face. "I really don't know. I was chasing him down a street and then he turned down another and in the second it took me to turn he was gone." I'm such an idiot...I should have planned the chase out better.

'What's with everyone and their lack of attention..' he sighed. "That's unlike you, Konan. You should have known it can take a mere second for them to escape.."

He turned his head and looked at her through the corner of his eye. "You must have been chasing him for a long time.."
